The first quest in WotLK that required me to takeover and manipulate a vehicle was fun. By the time I'd made it to level 80, the novelty had worn off. Now, thanks to the Occulus and Eye of Eternity, I fucking hate it.
As a healer, I like to think I choose my spells wisely, responding quickly and casting situationally as an encounter warrants it; as a DPS I like to think that I've worked out a careful rotation, monitoring my cooldowns and DoTs so as to maximize my damage output. In a vehicle, I am reminded that, really, it's all just glorified button mashing.
I'm happy to see some initial announcements about Ulduar. I can't wait for new raid content. The lore surrounding the zone intrigues me. But ugh. Vehicles? Really? Blah.
